The Terrazzo, Tile and Marble Association of Canada is pleased to introduce the TTMAC VERISPEC SERVICE. The VERISPEC PROGRAM has been designed as an aid to consultants and owners.
VERISPEC was developed at the request of consultants and owners to help verify that materials used on a project meet the requirements specified. In order to avoid problems of the past, this system will alleviate differences in the beginning rather than at the end of the project.
The consultant is encouraged to add VERISPEC to the specifications in Division 9 and follow up with an application for this valuable service.
The service provisions follow:
A. SPECIFICATION
VERIFICATION PRIOR TO TENDER
Verify
the tile, components and installation system meet the industry standards
as outlined in the TTMAC Specification
Guide 09300 Tile Installation Manual
B. VERIFICATION
OF MATERIAL IN COLOUR SELECTION
Verify that the tile, components and installation materials meet the specification
requirements
C. ON SITE VERIFICATION
(During 1st week of installation)
Verify the tile, components
